Thank you!

Dear Mrs. O'Connor's Kindergarten Class,

Thank you SO much for your beautiful Valentines. I felt so special getting so many even though I was very far away. You are all such wonderful artists and writers! I liked them so much that I wanted to write something special about Italy just for you!

This is me and my friend Marta. She is from Italy!
Here we are with all of your letters!

People who are from Italy speak Italian. I practice my Italian with my friend Marta and she practices speaking English with me! To say "Hi" in Italian, you say "Ciao," which sounds like "Chow." To say "How are you?" you say "Come stai?" which sounds like "Comb ays tie." Now you know some Italian!

This is what Florence looks like from very high up!

This is the most famous bridge in the city

This is a very special mask for a festival called Carnivale
During Carnivale, people dress up in masks, have parades, and eat special foods!

Thank you again for all of your cards, I love getting mail from the United States! Have a wonderful February Break!
Love,
Caroline
