| Just another long night at the office |
So I've actually had a really fun past 24 hours at work (I wrote this yesterday but I was too lazy to put it up). After not being able to do anything for awhile because my internet kept breaking and I kept not speaking Italian and not knowing where the food was, (wait... that's not actually resolved) it was great to finally be doing things!
Last night a group of thirty people from the fairfield program went and saw swan lake! The music was awesome and I am so jealous of the people who danced in it. Especially since I see them around all the time so I know they're actually (
not swans) real people. I wish I could be so artistic and athletic. Even though I found out they dance for 10 hours everyday and only get Mondays off...ooo don't know if that would work out as a career path for me (that and the fact that I couldn't even walk to the ballet without nearly crippling myself from uncoordination. I walked into a bin and I couldn't feel my thigh the entire show. Not that I wanted too really, the dancers weighed practically nothing...)

| ONLY MONDAYS?! |
 |
| real black swan Federica Maine! |
Swan Lake had closed but they were on to more things! When I got to work today my supervisor told me that we were having a press conference in 2 hours. Excitement! I put some stuff in folders like a real intern which was exhilerating and then welcomed people to the press conference.

World Bach Festival!
(it says from facebook to facebach! The theater loves puns!) | |
|
After it was over my supervisor (who is probably the nicest person in the world and also the only one I can't speak italian too despite the fact that she's so nice) was like good job I'm leaving in ten minutes to go to art high school with the make up artists and some dancers, do you want to come? Obviously I did even though it was 2 and I was starving (FEED THE INTERN) so I sprinted downstairs and downed a cracker and some fruit and a cappuccino and ran off again.

| Yeah, just regular a regular high school |
I really had no idea what she was talking about but it had something to do with pinocchio (shocker.) and that the students were doing make up for one of the future shows (I guess?) as a huge project so the opera's make up artists were going to do make up to show them and the dancers would be there and improvise a show with the students because they would all be painted like characters. WHAT? but it was awesome so I didn't really question it.

| It wasn't initially clear why he had a tail... |
 |
| Art Academy. |
 |
All the people were so much cooler than me.
I felt acutely aware of my lack of talent, piercings. |
 |
| She got to be the donkey. |
 |
| This guy. |
 |
FINALLY PAINTED.
The blue fairy was apparently dating whatever
the guy with the red hair was. Hilarious.
(Gipetto however seems to be feeling his third wheel status. ) |
Then the ballerinos did a pinocchio dance together! Such a jazzy foray into Art Academy.

Good thing they weren't at public school in america
Less socially acceptable to wear tights, purr there.
