Or else this happens.

I LOVE my internship at the Opera House. Even though I sit around all day not really knowing whether I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing or not and can only understand a fraction of what people are saying, I feel super cool in my head while I'm doing it, even if it's just because I'm in the proximity of professional performers. But yesterday I got really stressed because everyone disappeared and I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to be doing and it was getting to be lunch time but I had no clue if I was allowed to leave or even where the cafeteria was. Because it's CONFUSING. Seriously. There's like tunnels you have to go through and stuff. I have to get to work like twenty minutes early because I always get lost.

My Morning Commute

Finally I found an ugly baby statue that I use to find my supervisor's office and it's a lot better now, but I still didn't know where the food was. I even asked for directions but got stuck in some kind of tunnel. Since I'm deathly afraid of stumbling out onstage somehow and getting screamed at by a russian choreographer or something,  I gave up and just bought a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino from the vending machine and hoped someone would find me soon. The cappuccino helped, but the chocolate croissant on an empty stomach put me into a kind of deranged hungry sugar craze so I took this montage of pictures of my walk home from work.

My Walk Home From Work and coinciding Food-deprived thoughts:

Liz and I are so there. Cat festival.

Our creepy Semi-naked statue's hometown?

Dante's Garage.

Like Katy Perry, Pinocchio is known for his choice of colorful wigs.

Unlike Katy Perry, Pinocchio was able to maintain a committed relationship
with the Blue Fairy for more than 14 months.

What is he trying to tell me???

Fortunately, I finally got home and was able to eat at long last. Unfortunately, I made the world's most inedible sandwich.

I won't even try to explain; you wouldn't understand.

Next time maybe I'll just bring lunch...
